Empowering Transformation: The Philosophy Behind Rah Truth Psychological Services

What inspired you to start this practice?
I was inspired to start Rah Truth Psychological Services because of my own shared experience with mental health. There was a time in my life when I needed to understand myself on a deeper level—both in a molecular way and in a philosophical way—and mental health was where I chose to begin. As I learned different coping skills and tools to help me make sense of my own journey, I was introduced to a new approach to psychology—one that allowed me to break things down in a way that was workable, doable, and relatable. That experience shaped how I practice today.
I also wish I had someone when I was younger to help me navigate the tough questions about life, identity, and healing. I wanted that guiding light—someone who could sit with me, help me understand, and make sense of the things that felt heavy. Some of those things held me hostage, but through my journey, I was able to decipher what was true for me and step into the light.
I believe we are unconscious people having a very conscious experience. If I can show up for you, even for a short time, and speak truth into your life—helping you catch the winds of love, growth, and purpose—then our paths crossing will have been exactly what it was meant to be. And that kind of transformation is what this work is all about.
What does Rah Truth mean and why did you choose that name?
Rah Truth is about knowing yourself, your spiritual truth within. I chose this name because it represents the raw, unfiltered wisdom that already exists inside of you. “Rah” means to provide, and “Truth” is the provider of truth. To truly know yourself is to understand your deepest wisdom. It’s about tapping into the spiritual eye, the force within your soul that moves you toward the light and the wisdom that has always been within you.
This name reflects alignment with your higher power – some may call it God, the universe, or divine energy. Your higher power isn’t separate from you; it’s within you. It’s your third eye, your all-seeing eye, the pineal gland that connects you to your spiritual higher being, Rah, your power.
At Rah Truth Psychological Services, this belief shapes how I help my clients. Therapy here isn’t just about managing symptoms—it’s about uncovering the truth within you, breaking free from what’s been holding you back, and stepping into clarity and purpose. I guide my clients in listening to their own spirit, finding alignment, and trusting the wisdom already inside them.
When you tap into that truth, doubt fades. Healing begins. That is the Raw Truth—the wisdom that has always been inside of you, waiting for you to trust it and walk in it.
How has this practice evolved over time?
Anything new comes with a moment of learning, an opportunity to evolve into what you’re meant to become. My practice has grown in ways I never expected, but at its core, it has always remained a no-judgment zone for people navigating their own challenges. Over time, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals, each bringing their own experiences, struggles, and breakthroughs.
This evolution has been shaped by more than just time; it has been shaped by experience. Being a practicing therapist in Colorado and Mississippi, and working in diverse settings—including the prison system—has given me a deeper understanding of the human experience across different backgrounds and walks of life. Every facet of my journey has contributed to how I show up for my clients today.
One thing that hasn’t changed is how people find me. I don’t run ads or seek out clients—they find me. And I believe that’s intentional. They are led here by something greater, a higher power, a higher being. As above, so below. As within, so without. As the universe, so the soul. It’s more than just therapy. It’s a soulful connection, one that I share with the people I treat just as they share with me. That connection has only deepened with time.
What sets your practice apart from others?
I believe my practice is transcending, meaning that for you to even find me as your therapist, there must be a kinetic draw—something predestined. The connection between therapist and client isn’t random. It’s energy, alignment, and intention coming together at the right time.
What sets my practice apart is the way I integrate intuitive healing with clinically evidence-based therapy. I use energy work, crystals, and intuition alongside structured methods like workbook studies, deep inner child work, and uncovering the barriers that keep us stuck. We take a deep dive into the things we no longer talk about, the things that weigh us down in silence. And we do it in a space that is raw, rare, and completely nonjudgmental.
But beyond that, I treat everyone, not just those with access to care through insurance. My practice is open to all walks of life—no matter race, religion, color, or lack thereof. The preacher’s kid, the pastor, the pagan. If you are drawn here, there is a reason, and I honor that connection.
What do you hope clients gain by working with you? What do I hope clients gain from me? What do I hope my clients gain from this experience?
I hope they gain their identity—not just in our sessions, but in their own lives. I want them to break free from the things that have held them hostage for so long, to uncover their truth like never before, and to be bold enough to reach for love, happiness, and a deep commitment to themselves.
I want my clients to explore the pendulum of happiness, even if it means stepping beyond their comfort zones. Growth requires risk, and sometimes that means letting go of complacency to make space for something greater. Together, we work to uncover the parts of themselves that have been hidden for too long.
To know yourself is to know the highest form of truth. To know your truth is to understand the absolute purpose of your existence and connect with your higher power, your person, your chi like never before. It is raw, rare, and real. That’s what I want my clients to experience.
Every time they walk through my door, this is what we are seeking, uncovering, and claiming—session after session. And my commitment to guiding them through this journey is unwavering.
